Animetal: bio-historic word composed of animal+metal. It refers to a human being associated to a metal-species.

In a bio-logical sense we could talk of modern men as animetals, half animals, half metal, since machines are our tool of power over nature. Think of a middle age warrior, with his shield, sword, and armor, a metal-body, who fits perfectly his own body. He is obviously a symbiotic species that requires metal to survive, and impose his power. Think of a Middle age trader. He is depicted always with his purse of gold coins, a cyclical, informative metal. He needs money, the source of his capacity to give orders to other human beings. Think of the scientist, with his metal-minds. None of those 3 animetal species would exist without the help of their metal instruments. Species such as the middle age warrior dressed in armor, really looks like a cross between a human being, and metal, because he is biologically a cross between metal and human flesh.

Given the higher resistance of metal-atoms, that support more weight and conduct electricity faster, machines are more powerful than life organs when they perform body and mental tasks: metal-ears are more powerful than human ears, cranes are stronger than arms, etc. This has an advantage for men, since machines enlarge our informative and energetic capacities. Without machines of metal, men would be limited to his capacities as a carbolife species. We could not kill animals so easy as we do with metal. We could not move around the Earth as fast as we do with metal-bodies such as cars. We could not talk so far without phones...

Metal-species evolve in a deconstructed manner, as informative or energy species. They are not abstract forms, they are organic forms that attached to us make humans stronger than animal life. However, this added power is not human power. We depend on machines and become addicted to their use. We live a "mirage" of power, without realizing our dependence on machinery. So we become arrogant and deny the power of machines to enhance our power. Yet the power of many human beings comes from their use of metal-machines. In fact we can talk of 3 elite castes of history based in the 3 basic formal species of metal that there exist. We call them animetals: animal+metal:

Human + Energy Metal-Body: Warrior + Sword, Rifle, missile, etc...

Human + Informative Metal: Trader+coin, money.

Human + Complex Machine: Scientist+Metal-mind..

Warriors use weapons of lineal metal, which imitate the lineal form of energy. Traders give orders to people with money, basically a cyclical metal-species that carries an amount of information about the value of things (gold, computer e-money). Finally scientists use complex metal-species, and so they appear in the last age of evolution of metal, since the most simple forms -weapons, and coins- preceded them. So we talk of scientists and their minds of metal, as the final stage of the symbiotic evolution of metal-species and humans...

As a result of that symbiotism and the capacity of metal to carry energy and information, increasing our informative and energetic power, animetals have controlled history. Indeed, another clear-cut consequence of the use of metal is that there are indeed two social groups regarding the advantages they draw from metal-species... We talk about the original "sinners", and the "good people", in religious terms; "the rich", and "the poor", in economic terms; "the army, kings and politicians", and the "citizens", in military terms; the "mathematical, aesthetic scientist", and the "verbal, ethic citizen" in terms of education. The animetal, and the human being, in biological terms. To keep their control of human beings, those animetals have evolved the metal-species, source of their power, the weapons, monetary information and scientific machines that define our civilization... As a result of that power, given by their metal-species, animetals have developed subjective ideas, in favor of metal, which praise the use of metal, as the source of human progress, and systematically "hide", the side effects that metal have over other human beings, and natural species, such as the massive extinction caused by weapons, the degradation of human ethics, and verbal knowledge caused by monetary values, and mathematical languages.

Accordingly we talk of 3 basic ideologies belonging to our 3 fundamental animetal species:

- "Nationalistic ideologies" that allow warriors to use weapons and kill other human beings with them in war ecosystems. Those ideologies deny the obvious fact that all humans are equal and should apply among themselves the law of social evolution, [link to:Social Evolution] that make equal species to love each other. Instead, nationalism and racism define humans as different and apply the Darwinian law of the fight between species...

- "Economical ideologies" that allow traders to buy human Time with salaries, in order to make humans work-=reproduce machines, and consume=test them. The main of those ideologies is the "myth of the free market", which allows traders to rule societies with money [through lobbyism, and stock-markets that invent money for company-mothers, instead of letting human beings to rule themselves through verbal laws. The science that invents those myths is abstract economics.

- "Scientific ideologies" that allow scientists to consider themselves the only intelligent human beings because they use machines to measure the Universe. And consider mathematics the only "language of truth", and hence reality an abstract world. When it is proved that mathematics is only a "representation of reality", and so a "partial truth", that carries just a part of the total information that the truth -the Universe in itself- stores. As such all linguistic truths are relative statements about reality, and so it is mathematics.

Yet, while the use of instruments of metal attached to a human being, have helped mankind to progress, the limit of that symbiotism appears, when man abandons his role as master of metal-species, and completes them, as individual species, that no longer require a human master. Such is the fact that we are witnessing today, with the development of robotics. The danger that those species rebel against us, free of their servitude to man, able to exist by themselves, without the need of a human "consumer", is real. It might seem as remote to us as it was remote to Southern aristocrats, the possibility that blacks became free men, or to Romans that Germans destroyed the Roman empire. Yet it happened, very fast...

Problem is that animetals, that control history, have for so long accepted their symbiotism with machines as their source of power, and progress, that they cannot see any harm on metal, even today when machines are becoming self-independent, and the economic ecosystem is destroying the human ecosystem. Unless they realize on time, that they cannot evolve machines beyond the complexity of human beings, and create top predator metalife, it is very likely that animetals, guided by their myths and ideologies, will provoke the extinction of history and the arrival of a new ecosystem, that no longer will need mankind: the Metal-earth.
