Unification Theory: The Universe is a Fractal Organism of Spacial Energy and Temporal Information

4TH CYCLE: THE AGE OF COINS

The invention of coins evolved metal as a species of information able to rule the mind of mankind. Soon it became symbiotic with weapons multiplying, the destructive power of warriors and mercenary armies.

The first question of a scientific analysis of money is to determine what makes money so special in history. Why does money give power and it is used as a language of information to classify reality with prices as words do with names and verbs? Why does money have so much value? Why it has become a parameter of value, able to substitute even the natural verbal values of man? Why is man attracted to money, specifically to the most common form of money in history, gold, despite its null real use for mankind? How does gold hypnotizes and control man so completely, creating phenomena like the gold rushes, and as we shall see latter, the blindness of cultures to his negative side effects?  How can we define gold and its importance in history?

Nobody can deny that money and weapons give power, and that power is given to them by the properties of weapons, and money. The properties of weapons are self evident.

It is indeed quite clear why weapons have power over men. They kill you and that is something we all try to avoid. But why money has power over us? Why people love money? Maybe we should see how money was discovered and what was money then to understand those curious properties.

Eye hypnotism caused by Gold

When money appeared this strange capacity of money to hypnotize people, and make them do anything, including killing humans was despised philosophically. Yet it was effective.  People would become warriors for a few coins; women would prostitute themselves for a piece of gold. Why? What was magic about gold? Society has always wondered.

Today we can finally explain these facts, the nature of human consciousness and perception, according to new scientific theories.

Indeed, it seems that our 'valuation' of time and space, is caused by the eye. The eye sets our concepts of what is space and time, which differs from other species with other 'languages of perception.' For example, ants perceive chemical information, atoms if they perceive anything, gravitation. We perceive 'light-space', and we measure time in terms of 'light rhythms'.

We are naturally attracted, like any other animal, from moths to TV-watchers, to any image which has 'more light energy', more brightness and color, more 'light information' than our eye. We love complex visual forms.

This explains our love for 'metal money', mainly silver, copper and Gold: it responds to the hypnotism of the eye for energy light, for red and yellow light specially, since the eye searches for light energy similar to the sun's original light. Yellow is the middle range of our eye vision. So a yellow-red metal which attracts the human eye - copper - became the first worldwide system of money. Soon the eye-attraction for metal made yellow-gold money the more powerful communicator of orders among men. Even stronger than words. Gold was a perfect hypnotic substance... a small sun.

The law of visual hypnotism explains not only why man feels attracted by money, but also explains why we feel attracted by red=blood TV, and violent films. It's images display more energy and movement, and we like them instinctively.

If we think about it, we realize gold has no real value, and violent images program us to kill. Yet the first eye-impression is not verbal but visual, and intuitively likes violence and Gold. For that reason Gold and TVs impose themselves. Yet those facts are ignored by people even today. When I put forward those concepts a decade ago, people did not take me seriously. Recently though Scientific American published an article explaining the fact that Television hypnotizes mankind, and we watch it because of our likeness to movement. Now that earlier thesis of my bioeconomical treaties is proved.

However as long as money was metal in rought, heavy bars, its interest was limited.

Yet when money became a coin, a small circle, a sun-like portable object, and warriors imposed their face on the coin, as a symbol of power, the deadliest of all alliances against the health of human civilizations was born. Now people would kill for money and money will raise army to kill people.

The year, 500 BC, the place Anatolia. All great verbal masters of the age realized something had changed. Now in the words of Lao Tse the age of Great Harmony had ended, the Jen age of love was over. Evil had acquired a precise form, and live would be in danger for ever. Weapons multiplied, wars multiplied, mercenary armies were raised, and the military industrial complex begun.

The informative function of money.

The function of money is obvious, and natural to all informative languages, parallel in that sense to verbal thought: to give value to things. Money has a value that is changed by work and products.

The quantity of money changed by work is the value of human time, in terms of money. The quantity of money you change for a product is the value of that product for all its time. In this manner money can compare all real things among them, as it compared men and products in the age of slavery. Since all things can become valued by money. This fact is fundamental to understand what money is: a language of value. Yet it is only the beginning of a far more relevant inquire. What are the values of money, and are those values similar to the values of other human languages, such as words? Before answering that question we shall consider the material form of money.

The material form of money and its function are symbiotic.

The original spatial form of the new money, a coin, is obvious: money was a cyclical, 'metal form', susceptible to becoming a unit of information, and mathematical accounting. So its form was imposed by its function, to be a language unit, in this case a unit of mathematical languages.

Money has always possessed 2 formal characteristics:

It is made of metal, (either gold, silver, copper, or computer machines: e-money).

It is cyclical and homogenous in form, because cyclical and broken shapes are susceptible to becoming in-form-ation, units of a language based in form.

So we conclude, that the form and function of money are symbiotic. Since money due to the informative property of cycles, and the easiness of recognition of gold became earlier in history the basic unit of mathematical accounting, and one of the main reasons why mathematics have been evolved. Indeed, the first coins appeared in the Anatolian coast, where the first known mathematician Thales was born. He was from Miletus the first emporium of coin-trade in the world. This is not a coincidence. Those who handle money learn to count, and then become 'abstract' mathematicians. Praxis precedes abstract information. This is also true of science, as we shall see. First it was the clock and the telescope, and then it was Galilee and science, who said that 'to measure time with clocks and space with telescopes', two metal-sensorial species, was the nature of true knowledge. This also happened with the evolution of mathematics beyond simple agricultural geometry: The Greeks invented coins and learned to count in abstract, and thus became mathematicians.

These facts explain the close relationship between money and mathematics. Yet if money imposed a new language to humankind - the digital language - in a Darwinian universe it means money replaced a previous language: words.

And so if we keep exploring the form and function of money, now we wonder what are the values that money gives to other species? And are those values influenced by the natural affinity of species, are those values biological? That is, does money value things that are similar to its material form, metal, as words value more things related to its material form, human beings?

Do languages value things according to their own nature? Surprising as it seems, for most western economists of abstract nature, they do...

Yet species 'have survival languages'. And man has verbal thought to reflect upon the real survival value of products. So when man thinks it over, he hates Gold and TV. He recognizes the silly-nilly hypnotism of it. It has been the task of verbal prophets to denounce the 'vile metal,' today TV-violence. Yet hypnotism has imposed TVs over verbal ethic survival.

And cultures of Gold have imposed over verbal cultures.

How Money values human species.

Humankind uses two basic languages of knowledge and valuation: words and digital money. Let us now consider how money and digital languages are able to deliver orders and information about the value of things.

Truth is relativistic, always subjective, favoring the species, that speaks the language of truth. Verbal languages favor human truths and the survival of man. In the same manner, monetary languages favor the evolution and survival of metal. We say that monetary truths are subjective metal-truths and Verbal truths subjective human truths. Both oppose in the practical world because they help the survival of different species. It is what we call the paradox of history. It also applies to money:

Max. Wealth = Minimal Human values = Max. war.

Since wealth values machines of war more than any other species.

So as money, wealth, multiplied on Earth, the complex organic relationships between money, weapons and human beings, caused the parallel disappearance of human values, and the lost of power of human laws, based on the survival of the species.

So ever since, ethics have died away, as monetary values, imposed a rhythm of wars and valued with prices all forms of the Universe, evolving metallic products, making humans and products, equal forms, with a price, creating slavery [a man is bought with money] and part-time slavery [human time is bought with a salary].

As more money existed, more monetary values were created, till since the XVII C. the creation of paper money allowed the creation of unlimited monetary values. All was then priced. Today electronic money prices all reality. So we have regressed to the age of dramatic thought, since nobody accepts any more the values of words, but the values of money. Words have no longer meaning as a higher language of power. So words become fiction, myths, false ideas about reality.

The process however is not new. It started when money was for the first time created in Mesopotamia. The first myths appeared, the first religions that built myths of superiority, of certain humans being more humans than others, came into existence at that time.Again the difference of those myths in relationship with the myths of warriors are clear. Warriors are self evident in their evil. The Germans worshipped Thor, represented not by an anthropomorphic form, but by a mere sword. They were also obsessed by evil. Evil gods like Loki, the god of the recent movie, "The Mask", are always present in German pantheons. The nazi evilness is the modern version of that old degradation of the natural law of love that applies to human species, that weapons brought to the Germanic cultures. Evil has been the obsession of that culture ever since, in legends of all kind that associate the inferno to metal, from the modern account of those sages by Tolkien (the lord of the rings, in which the ring is made of gold, and brings armies to the Earth), to the earlier versions of Scandinavian literature.

But money is not that clear in its evilness. And so we find the paradox of present cultures, in which the Germans have done to a certain point a self-conscious analysis of their evilness, that the Jewish-Protestant culture of self-righteous, always accusing only the other side has not. It simply does not understand the evilness of money, not the invisible hand of god, but the invisible hand of the devil.

And yet the great triad of Jewish prophets that astonished the word, Moses, Jesus, and Marx, in 3 different ages, studied latter in detail, all realized of those evil properties and denounced money. If there is indeed redemption for Judaism, if there is indeed a cure to the paradox of Judaism, it is in the words of that triad of Jewish prophets. The fact that Judaism only recognize the first of them, does not matter to us. As we shall see orthodox Judaism is a censored discipline, non-scientific, with a historic approach proper of the XIX century, subjective, that ignores most of the real facts about Judaism. As we men ignored till Pasteur came in the XIX century, even the fact that "germs" kill and produce the sickness of the body, Judaism with his pre scientific approach to history, ignores clearly the two germs that kill mankind, money and weapons.

Symbiosis of weapons and money: the Chinese paradigm.

We said earlier in this text that weapons and money are symbiotic and multiply the power of death of animetals. It happens elsewhere, not only in the western Semite culture. Take the Chinese case - the first national empire, the Ch'in empire is a paradigmatic case of symbiosis between weapons and the first forms of money. Both together fostered the evolution of war in china.

The repetition of the massacres that the alliance of money and weapons brought to humankind in the Semite and Indo-European empires, [Assyrian, Persian and Greek-Roman empires] is also in China crystal clear, since coin evolution is parallel in China to the first ages of massive war.

Already the arrival of Bronze brought the first systems of pricing of humans as slaves. Bronze, able to control by death people's behavior debase the value of Human life, that now can be 'measured' by metal.

Iron further encroaches that tendency.

A sample-case: 1000 bars of copper can buy the life of a death sentence in the Sh'ang age. Yet the price goes down steadily until the minimal prices of the Ch'in iron dynasty for human Heads... 6 pieces of iron buy a human life...

Even if iron increases in quantity, the parallel corruption of ethical thought by monetary hypnotism and systematic murders, lowers life's price.

Human life becomes then very cheap, as it is cheap in Africa today, where the first world throws its surplus of weapons reproduced in our 'free market' ecosystems.

Money is addictive. Men wish more of the product that destroys them. This happens because as more money there is, more things can be 'measured' by the monetary language, until a point in which the 'monetarization of the economy' is absolute. Money can buy almost anything. This fact increases the value of money. In America many cultures to the surprise of Conquistadors despised money. It was not yet the language of 'value'. Yet as money evolves and radiates in bigger numbers, more things acquire value, and money displaces verbal thought as the language that values species.

This happened in China, as it happened latter in America during the reproductive age of the revolver, and the gold fever of California.

As we said, American colonists received $5 each for Indian scalps in California paid the State Treasure in Sacramento. There was so much gold and revolvers that they were put to use. Within a decade all the Californian Indians that the Spanish Missions had civilized under the rule of the word, had become extinct under the symbiotic rule of weapons and hyper-abundant money..

When weapons and money multiply symbiotically, war becomes endemic and life becomes 'cheap', because men wish to use-consume the weapon killing others, and wish money not verbal contact with other men, no longer guided by ethical verbal thought. Chinese philosophers like Confucius, who lived at the beginning of the coin age in China, as Hesiode in Europe, would talk of the end of the 'Jen Age', the age of Love and social harmony...

During the age of Warrior states, iron, cavalry, and coins spread simultaneously to all China. Iron will end the age of chariot chivalry, with his civilized, Taoist wars of minimal causalities, and it will provoke massive massacres. Sample: the historian Chao Yun writes the following number of organized slaughters over conquered kingdoms organized by the Ch'in state, which in the West, received iron and cavalry first: 364 BC: 60.000 dead; 354, 70.000; 351:80.000, 317 BC: 80,000[..] 312 BC:80.000, 307 BC:60.000; 300 BC:30.000; 293 BC:240.000; 273 BC190.ooo; 260 BC:450.000. Now soldiers, unlike in the bronze age, will systematically massacre peasants, since they receive a 'monetary compensation' by Head. In the XVII-XIX centuries a parallel phenomena will happen in America [English colonist would receive money for Indian scalps, starting the custom of cutting them, which Indians would latter imitate].  The rhythm of massacres will accelerate in the following 50 years until the unification of China. Perhaps 5 million died in the iron slaughter. The custom of massive displacements of population, as 'cattle' that moves from one region to another, will also become with the Chin dynasty, a Chinese custom. Similar Chinese massacres will be brought by the following two waves of 'metal-progress': the stirrup wave, carried by Northerners [Tang, Mongolians, Manchus] and the wave of gunpowder and Science, first invented by Taoist monks, and rightly repressed in Japan and China thanks to the great level of social, verbal culture achieved by those nations. Such surprising case of gunpowder repression in Asian societies proves that humankind is not totally lost to machines. That a single, unified, pro-human world wide government could as Chinese and Japanese did, stop the evolution of lethal machines of war... Americans should take notice if they wish their nation to be human for a few centuries more. Or else they will have to confront smart weapons in their roads and air space very soon...

Unfortunately gunpowder 'escaped' to the west, and returned to China carried by the British->Japanese that slaughtered massive numbers of Chinese...

Slavery

It follows that mercenary armies and slavery became the first symbiotic 'product' of money and weapons. By definition, slavery is the sale of humans for money. It required the ability to define men in monetary terms. It also required the violence of metal-weapons, to prevent the slaves from running away. Without money and weapons, without metal-species, slavery on a large scale, may never have existed. In modern times, slavery was also caused by the Iberian, Sephardim and Calvinist craze for American Gold. As a result of the psychological slavery of money, thus the destruction of the Carbolife Paradise increased.
