The Myth Of Human Freedom

The myths of economists, the myths of the "free market" which misunderstand the nature of human freedom say that "humanity becomes free and progresses when it allows the free reproduction and evolution of machines. Yet it is obvious that human freedom is free time to enjoy all human senses, free access to proper human information and education and free access to human goods.

What economics calls a free market enhances the freedom of machines, not of human beings. For that reason, property (machines) and companies (organs reproducers of machines) have more rights today than all other species, including mankind. A free market is a different concept than a free society. It is an ecosystem that gives freedom to machines, not to humankind. It hides the control of societies by money; and the existence of a reproductive, free ecosystem of machines and company-mothers that controls men.

How that control of mankind by Economic ecosystems and company-mothers takes place? Companies control us as workers and consumers, and control our governments through lobbies. Most of our life is spent in unending hours of work and consumption in the service of the goals of companies. In order to hide this, economists don't speak about what to consume and work means. They say instead: in a bio-economy you are free... only to consume and work. Yet what is really consume and work, from the perspective of machines?

We promote the biological arrows of machines and company-mothers

It is quite simple. When you work in a company-mother you reproduce its products, its machines. When you consume a machine you vitalize it, you become dependent of it and test its quality paying the company-mother money, so it will evolve and reproduce the best machine. So you act as a reproducer and evolutor of machines every time you consume and work. That is why company-mothers, governments and the economic and politic systems they rule, always praise consume and work as the goals of man. They are in fact the goals of company mothers. Do not raise your eyebrows. This is a sad truth. We work unending hours in "company-mothers" of machines, reproducing machines. We no longer have freedom, neither free time for our reproductive goals (our family), nor free time to inform ourselves in verbal terms, free time to design our collective future.

We spend unending hours providing energy and information to machines, in acts of consume. To consume a machine is to vitalize the machine, to make the computer-brain think, the camera-eye see, the car-body move. Instead of moving ourselves, instead of reading verbal books, or talking to other humans about ourselves, our feelings, and thoughts, instead of expressing our ideas, we watch machines that inform us, we move with machines, we dedicate our life to consume=vitalize them.

The entire society seems tells you to do so. We are told to work and consume all day long. When we work we reproduce machines, when we consume them, we energize bodies and brains of machines. The result is that there is a lot of people, and their numbers are growing fast, that cannot have time to provide for themselves. There is a lot of hungry people, there is a lot of ignorant people, there is a lot of people that live surrounded by ugly property, not natural to us. There are entire extensions of our historic ecosystem which are no longer a paradise for mankind, but a paradise for machines.

This happens because certain social organizations, called company-mothers whose natural aim is to reproduce, evolve, and multiply the numbers of machines on earth, rule our societies. It is truth that those company-mothers are directed by human beings. Yet their "mandate of existence" is not "to grow and multiply human beings", but "to grow and multiply machines". This is expressed of course in mathematical terms, the languages of machines, and it is called GNP.

We are told then by economists, people who work basically for companies, that the goal of company-mothers, of machines -to grow in GNP, to increase the quantity of information and energy of machines, the quantity of money and products a society has- is superior to the goal of mankind, of history, to grow in human energy and information. This is false. It is an ideology in favor of machines, against human rights.

Yet since company-mothers control most of the sources of power and information of our societies, the make-us-belief those ideas. So we accept the economical goal, and confuse it with the real, historic goal: to evolve human societies. We are going in this manner against the laws of social evolution.

Consumers and workers test and reproduce machines

In essence we can express the events that take place in a company as an equation of transference of information and energy between man and machine. This takes place through two symbiotic acts: work and consumption:

Work: Man >Price [wages] > Product.

Where > means a transfer of energy and information from man to machine. The worker communicates form and energy to the product, to which he transfers his existential form. Likewise, through acts of consumption, man selects the best machines for his futurereproduction:

Consumption: Product -> Price -> Consumer -> Test of quality -> Best product

\-----> profits -> new re=production ---/

Through pricing companies change and adapt our world to machines. Prices and salaries encourage the consumption-testing of products by men, the work-reproduction of machines creates the Metal earth. Where does this lead? Toward the evolution of stocks=species reproduced by Mother-Companies. To a life spent in testing=consuming or working=producing machines. This is the purpose of the present design of the world market. It programs us to become consumers and workers. It also limits our non-productive activities, mainly social activities. Man has become a slave, working for companies that use 90% of our existence in cycles of consuming and testing metal forms.

Believers in market-controlled societies ignore the time men spend working, controlled by pricing. The reproduction of machines multiplies the number of tasks related to caring for machines that man is obliged to perform. The market only tolerates humans that act as workers and consumers. The most evolved zones of the Metal earth, where more species of metal-science exist, are also where humans spend less free time in social and human communication and freedom:

Man as a work alcoholic appears during the Industrial r=evolution. For companies, the evolution and reproduction of machines is their only goal. Man becomes an expendable species, measured in numbers-wages, whose value is assigned according to his capacity to test=consume and work=create machines. Good workers are rewarded with high wages, and given the "privilege" of testing machines. Bad enzymen are punished. They suffer low wages and struggle to survive.

The essence of freedom, your time, was bought first by earlier companies, through slavery, latter, your life was "leased" through wages. Work becomes in this manner a part-time slavery, during which you have to obey absolutely the company. Before the Industrial Evolution, the main activities of man were those described on the right side of the previous graph: reproduction, social evolution, and gathering of energy and information goods, that enhance the use of our human bodies and minds. Today those natural, biological drives that give freedom to man are all repressed.

The Control Of Human Times By Company Mothers

The slavery imposed on humans today is simple; most of our time belongs to company-mothers as workers or consumers. Mass-media rhetoric converts those duties into "freedom", and programs men to be addicted to work. The only real measure of freedom is free time. A species is only free when it has no duty beyond its own existence.

Top predators are like lions on the savanna, free, lazy species, dedicated to eat-feed, look around (inform themselves) and reproduce. On that view the Genesian paradise was free, not our life in the ecosystem of machines. This is naturally known to man, who loves to go on holidays to such paradises. An entire system of ideological repression is in place to hide this. When you work for other people, you are not free. You are a slave of the reproduction and evolution of the other species you work for. Free societies are only those in which the individual has a lot of free time and choices in how to spend it. Time to learn, reproduce and consume human goods; time to socialize with others. The most developed agricultural and religious societies fit this description. They were societies with a natural balance with their environment. Some examples are the Pacific Islanders, the Native American Indians, the Mayans, and the Christian and Buddhist cultures. Our current society does not meet this criteria. Genesis described why men were only free in Paradise. Afterward, they were slaves of work. Marketing of "freedom of greed" confuses our freedom with our "duties" of creation=work and testing=consumption of products.

The Myth Of Consumption: Atrophy of Human Organs

Your duty as a consumer is simple: you have to test different products and choose the one that best substitutes a human organic function. Then you will tell this to the company, by buying and consuming its products. In this manner, metal consumption becomes the trap that causes the degeneration of the human species. Why? Since only the consumption of goods that support social needs are beneficial to man. Food, housing, education, arts, love, family time, textiles, and other basic carbolife goods improve the lives of men and evolve our real senses. It is what we call human consumption as opposed to machine consumption, which substitute them for machine-species (cars, chip-minds, television-eyes, etc.). The difference is clear. Machine-consumption atrophies our informative and energetic capacity. Human goods increase the use of our sensorial organs.

To have more channels to watch on television is not human consumption. It is a form of slavery to the virtual reality of a metal-mind that substitute our verbal minds with the subtle pro-company messages televisions deliver. To have more roads and cars is not human consumption. It too is a form of slavery to cars. It obliges men to spend hours, testing and acting as "brains" of the car (metal-body) and it atrophies our legs. The mirage by which man becomes dependent on those metal-species is their capacity to substitute a human function or organ. The outcome of that mirage is the atrophy and extinction of those organs.
