5. GLOBAL TERRORISM and GLOBAL MILITARISM

"There are multiple forms of terrorism, defined as those human individual or collective actions which might provoke massive death of human beings. In fact, in the XXI century, the main form of terrorism will be scientific terrorism, still not defined in a civilization that worships machines more than human beings. SinceScience, searching for higher levels of energy (global warming, weapons, super-colliders) and information (robotics), is pushing life species including mankind, towards extinction.

 

Terrorism=death

The main definition of terrorism was given recently by the Spanish President, in his conference to the American Media:

"We don't prosecute Al Quaeda for his ideas, we don't prosecute Eta for his ideas, we prosecute them because they are terrorists, they kill" Aznar, Spanish president.

In other words terrorism is equivalent to murder.

As such it is a meaningless term. It is more appropriate to talk of war, of murder, of criminal acts, of genocide, of many of the terms that we apply already in History. Since we live in a world submitted to terror. The terror of millions of children that die of hunger, because of our wrong economic ecosystem that credits lethal goods and machines, and chokes the production of food, health care and human goods.

The terror of millions of men submitted to dictatorships, warlords and tyrannies, because we have an economic ecosystem that concedes total freedom to Company-mothers, even those that reproduce and sale of weapons.

The terror of millions of women submitted to machist men, that use violence and those weapons to intimidate them against reason. The terror of billions of human beings, who will be victims of Weapons of mass destruction, as our states evolve robotics, nano-technology, bio-technology, and our industries keep polluting the atmosphere.

The terror of thousands of victims of our degraded food-production chain, from mad cow diseases to water poisoning. Terrorism, murder of human beings, is the day order. Take the case of the millions that will die of Aids and have died of Aids because profits are more important than human lives and pharmaceutical companies do not allow the production of cheap medicines. When the first Aids victims were dying, it was proved that the disease was transmitted by blood donors. For a few cents the blood could be tested. Yet Californian Hospitals for the sake of profits, and saving those pennies, decided not. Thousands died so Hospitals could save those pennies. Take the case of tobacco companies. How many have died of lung hunger?

Take the case of weapon companies - the cheapest weapons, assault guns and mines. How many millions will keep dying with those weapons? How many nations like Afghanistan will become an inferno, in which any farmer, any child can be maimed, with 20 million personal mines?

Terror is part of a society in which machines with enormous energetic power live side to side with men, and enjoy higher rights. Terror is part of a society in which the real laws are trade laws that defend the rights of machines and company-mothers, to abuse men for the sake of profit. Terror is part of a society, like ours in which men are secondary species. The terror we use with chicken and pigs, machines, and the economic ecosystem in which they roam free apply to man, by the very nature of their form. Weapons kill, mines maim, industries pollute, cars crash you. Robots will extinguish mankind. And yet in as much as we worship machines, we do not take any measure, against all those lethal goods that kill or will kill millions of men. That is the terror that bothers me most. Because it is a terror ingrained in the very essence of our dogmas as a society, in our beliefs, in our way of submitting to the terror of a free economic ecosystem in which man is secondary, often obsolete.

Compared to all those terrors, political terrorism, which is the nature of what Mr. Bin laden, or Eta, or any other movement does, pales. It is of course criminal as all those previous terrors, but milder. Less than 1000 people have been murdered by ETA. Around 5000 men, have died to the hands of Arab terrorism (if we exclude the Palestine Vs Israel war). In a long scale of terrorist forms, political terrorism becomes clearly secondary. And economic and scientific terrorism, higher than anyone on our list.

1. We humans are a fragile species, very easy to kill.

We are a fragile species. Despite our claim to be the center of the Universe, professed by most religious people that believe in a God ever attentive to man, or by most scientists who think humanity is the only intelligent species of the Universe (even more intelligent than God himself, since most scientists do not consider that ‘hypothesis’) - the position of man relative to the cosmos is similar to that of a bacterium relative to a human body: insignificant and rather expendable. In scientific terms that insignificance implies that we could easily disappear from the Universe, leaving few traces behind and nobody would care that much. This is what happens to us as individuals despite our intense fight against death and our creative attempts to leave behind a trace of our work and genes in our sons. But within a few generations 99.99% of human beings disappear in the memory of those who follow them. When we go through the pictures of our ancestors a century ago, sometimes we cannot even remember who they are. Death erases information, returning all beings to the initial dust of space-time from where we departed. And so it will happen to the species if we do not take seriously, as we do with our individual lives, the protection of that collective social super-organism we might call History – the life of the species from the first ‘cellular human being’ who reproduced and colonized the Earth, to the last group of men that will inhabit it.
Death happens when the networks of energy and information that hold together the quantic elements of any organic system become corrupted and fall apart. As any medical student knows, the foundation of their discipline is physiology that studies the imbalances of those energetic=blood and nervous=informative systems that cause most human sickness. In the case of a nation, both, the informative, legal and political system and the energetic, economic system have to be healthy and balanced. Or else, when those legal and economical systems become corrupted, the nation dies in revolutions and wars, in which an excess of technological energy, delivered by weapons of mass destruction extinguishes its citizens. Since death is an imbalance of any organism, due to a lack or excess of energy and information.

2. Organic causes of death. An excess of energy and information.

Life is a question of balances and equilibriums between the energy and information networks of the system that an excess or lack of energy and information destroys. So when we lack enough energy we can die of hunger; and when we don’t have enough information about the dangers that lurk ahead into the future, we can die of ignorance. The opposite is also truth, an excess of energy or information can easily kill us:
At individual level, the most common cause of death in the first forty years of our life is an excess of energy caused by a car accident or a weapon. The higher energy of the car or the weapon, made of iron, the most energetic atom of the Universe, is transferred to our weak carbon body, destabilizing and breaking apart its organic networks. The same happens when a bomb explodes nearby. Its release of energy is passed into our cells that expand in space, breaking apart and dying. But any living being is composed of a body of energy and a head of information in perpetual balance. ‘Mens sana in corpore sanum’ said the Greeks. So there is also a limit of information that if crossed destabilizes the organism and kills it. It is basically what happens when you get older. Not only your brain acquires more information but also your body becomes in-formed, wrinkled, warped by time till it finally collapses and dies. Thus the main cause of death in the second part of our lives is an excess of information: our body wrinkles; some cells become cancerous and multiply enormously its informative DNA, our brain acquires an excess of information and becomes indifferent to the energetic pleasures of life.

3. The Death of a species. The death of the human kind.

When we study the death of any species, the same concept applies:
A species normally ends his existence on Earth when it confronts a new top predator species with more energy and information in his ecosystem. The new top predator substitutes the lesser species, hunts it down killing it with its predatory, energetic claws and teeth; or merely takes the energy that used to feed the lesser species who dies of hunger. So the arrival of human beings to America extinguished Mammoths, thanks to new, energetic weapons that killed the lesser energetic body of the mammoth. Alternatively it might happen that the Earth changes its energy parameters destroying many species due to an excess or lack of energy. So when a meteorite impacts the Earth, heating the atmosphere or a glaciation period cools the Earth too much, many species die away. Thus mankind will become an endangered species, if the limits of energy and information that our bodies and brains can manage safely are crossed. That is, if we create and release on Earth technologies and machines whose excess of energy and information we cannot control and might provoke our extinction…

4. The ‘Richter’s’ scale of extinction.

How close we are to the happening of those doomsday events? Unfortunately much closer than we think; so close that we have already entered into the ‘extinction zone’ of any endangered species, crossing the energy limits of the human kind. Indeed, in the past 50 years we have suffered the possibility of a Nuclear War and the risk is growing, as the chances of III World War increases. Yet a far more dangerous experiment, the creation of the first black hole by a human-made collider accelerator, has been scheduled for Christmas, 2007… And the risk of extinction, if the black hole becomes stable and swallows the Earth, is 10, absolute extinction with nothing left behind of the human race. The Guardian, a respected British magazine, made a year ago a scientific poll, trying to find those excesses of energy and information that can extinguish us. The newspaper reported the 10 more probable causes of the end of man in this way: ”How all will end? Some say we are likely to go with a bang, others predict a slow lingering end, while the optimists suggest we will overcome our difficulties by evolving into a different species. Kate Ravilious asks 10 scientists to name the biggest danger to Earth and assess the chances of extinction from 10 to 1, in case the event happens in the next 70 years. The results from minimal to maximum extinction risk are as follows:

1. A major terrorist attack:  2 (minimal extinction)
2. A viral pandemic:  3
3. Cosmic ray blast from exploding supernova:  4
4. Meteorite impact -  the Earth being hit by a large asteroid: 5
5. Climate Change: 6
6. Super-volcanoes: 7
7. A human population crash due to telomere erosion: 8
8. A  global nuclear war: 8
9. Super-intelligent Robots taking over: 8
10. Earth being gobbled up by a black hole: 10 (absolute extinction).”

 

If we analyze that list of possible causes of human extinction in this century, we notice first that the 2 most publicized causes for collective death risk - terrorism or pandemic, provoked by some virus run amok (a new mad cow disease, a bird’s flu, a new strain of Aids or a genetically modified lethal virus) - are the less risky, scoring a mere 2 or 3 points in the ‘Richter scale of human extinction’. Then you have an array of natural, accidental causes that humans can’t control: a super-volcano, a meteorite crashing on Earth, the sun becoming a super-nova and burning the Earth or our molecular DNA becoming unstable. Finally, the 3 most dangerous, lethal causes of human extinction, a global nuclear war, super-intelligent robots and the Earth being gobbled up by a black hole created in a particle’s collider, are provoked by the evolution of science, whichis opening up to mankind awesome energies (atomic bombs, production of black holes) and awesome, new forms of informative intelligence (computer nets and intelligent robots).If we ad the other human cause in the poll, rated 5 by scientists - a sudden climatic change due to an excess of industrial energy that is heating the Earth, we have to conclude that science is crossing in the XXI century, the thresholds of energy and information that might cause the death of our species. As the proverb says, ‘Curiosity kills the cat’. Since we live in a Darwinian Universe in which no species is safe when it faces an excess of energy and information that it can’t safely manage. It is the intention of this book, the first of a trilogy, to consider in detail what are the chances of mankind to become extinct by those ‘scientific advancements’.

5. We have to differentiate the bad fruits of the tree of science and forbid them.

The technological and theoretical quest for the energetic and informative limits of the Universe is bringing about a very unwanted process, the likely extinction of humanity during this century due to the excessive, irresponsible curiosity of our species. However we have to differentiate bad and good science. Most scientific disciplines help mankind to survive and improve our quality of life, as biology, medicine or social sciences do. The problem are 2 dogmatic disciplines, which have specialized in the search for energy and information without limits, disregarding the biological balance between those 2 fundamental substances of the Universe, needed to create any healthy individual or social organism:
- High Energy Physics, which seeks today to open the ultimate frontier of energy in the Universe, tearing apart the very fabric of space and time of which we are made, manufacturing a black hole. It is part of a long tradition. Since High energy Physics was born in II W.W. to research and help the creation of atomic weapons and flourished in the cold war, manufacturing them.
- And Robotics, which seeks to create Artificial Intelligence - machines that will surpass the informative capacity of man, and probably will make us an obsolete species, killing us in the battle field and substituting us as workers, in the economic ecosystem…
In both cases we face disciplines that show a complete unbalance and misunderstanding of the equilibriums between energy and information needed to create in this planet a healthy world, made to the image and resemblance of mankind. Even if I will use the terms ‘science’ and ‘scientists’ often, it should be clear to the reader that those 2 disciplines are the 2 bad apples of the Tree of Science that extinguish us and will become the focus of this book, which doesn’t want to dilute responsibility beyond the limits of those who are truly accountable of a probable extinction of man this century. As any politician should distinguish today between fundamentalist and moderate religious attitudes, which do not harm society but are a positive influence through their common messages of love and solidarity; we should distinguish between positive, balanced scientific disciplines and fundamentalist, single-minded science (robotics and high energy Physics) whose search for scales of energy and information beyond human control risk the future of mankind through ‘terrorist acts’ similar to those performed by fundamentalist believers. In that sense we might talk also in biological, ethic terms of eviL=anti-live disciplines of knowledge that deny the energy-information balance of living beings and worship only one of the 2 sides of the Universe. They form a minority of scientists, as it happens with fundamentalist believers. But they are a very active minority that, given the passivity and ignorance of most citizens on those matters, carry about their experiments without any opposition. It has always been like that: a few people, obsessed by religious, scientific or economic dogmas drive mankind towards a cliff of war and extinction while the bewildered herd follow them, like cattle follows the rancher to the slaughter house… ignoring the risks involved.
The purpose of this book is to give the basic information on those risks, so people can react on time to avoid them.
In that sense the book is divided in 3 parts, the first one will concentrate mainly on CERN’s experiment, which can terminate the human species as early as the end of this year, 2007, considering…
- What are the scary facts we know about black holes, thanks to Einstein’s Relativity Theory, which prove beyond any reasonable doubt the danger of those experiments. And why we should trust indeed, Einstein’s work in the subject, after a century of overwhelming proves on the theoretical and experimental truth of General Relativity.
- What are the speculative theories CERN is using to justify the creation of black holes. And why they are a clear smoking gun, to hide the dangers of an event CERN found only at a stage on the construction of the super-collider that made any change of plans a waste of 8 billion $ money difficult to accept .
- Why the 2 fundamental reasons for those experiments, the creation of quark bombs and the quest for the ultimate truth of the Universe, won’t be achieved even if the experiments at CERN are successful. Since a quark/black hole bomb would destroy the Earth not only our possible enemies and hence it is just a suicidal proposition similar to the MAD strategy of the cold war that sponsored a Mutual Assured Destruction of the entire planet. While High Energy Physics, obsessed by the single arrow of energy, has become irrelevant to the quest for a Unification Theory, the excuse of the experiment, which is today carried about by 2 other disciplines, biology and system sciences, which study together the 2 arrows of the Universe, energy and information, and are making important inroads in that quest for an ultimate theory of reality. Further on super-colliders are not only an enormous risk to life in this planet, but they are ultra-expensive, redundant machines, since we can observe black holes in the Universe, without any danger for Earth. In fact, the first of those colliders was constructed to find a particle called a muon (a heavy electron), but just before it was put to work the muon was founded by cosmologists looking at cosmic rays. In other words, there is a 2nd way to do those experiments called Cosmology, cheaper, far less intrusive with Nature and the fate of mankind.
- And who and what should be done respect to this serious matter, far more important than any other question we will come across during the next decade. Since the probability of creating a stable black hole won’t fade away, even if the Doomsday particle doesn’t appear in the first days of work at the LHC supercollider. As we shall see, making a black hole is not easy. Nuclear physicists are like an amateur billiard player who is trying to make a bull’s eye shot… The inexperienced player will succeed only after a lot of trials, in which mediocre shots – the equivalent to an unstable black hole – will be done and die away . Once the LHC switches on, every experiment will be a black hole bull’s eye shot. Certainly after years of using the collider to hit ‘atomic balls’ at light speeds, concentrating all that energy into a single point of space and time, trying to achieve the awesome densities required to manufacture those black holes, it will happen. When exactly, we do not know. But the chance of its occurrence has been growing on as theoretical physicists studied the parameters of the LHC machine in detail. And now stands according to some of the most respected physicists working today in this matter , at a 60% of chances within a decade… That probability will keep growing as the LHC machine keeps mashing super fluid quarks together. While a new generation of even more powerful, cheaper colliding machines, based in plasma confinement techniques, will further increase the probability of producing a black hole with enough critical mass to become stable .

 

Elimination of our freedoms.

And yet nobody talks in the political arena of scientific and economic terrorism. On the contrary our politicians that are supossed to protect us have funded with 9 billion $ the making of the biggest terrorist machine on history.

Meanwhile, the entire system seems to have found the focus of all evils, the nature of all our problems in political forms of terrorism. One reason obviously is that 'politicians' might be victims of political terrorism, as children are victims of pharmaceutical companies and wall Street despise for credit when it goes to human good companies. So politicians who are not what we wish them to be - brave, concerned people, who care about citizens more than about themselves - are terrorized. On top of is dwindling attributes, as they become more ignorant, more corrupted, further away from the ideal of the Bio-Historian - the ethic politician building a world to the image and resemblance of man - our politicians are becoming more coward...

It is the sign of the times. A race degrading itself, the human race, as it worships a new race, the machine race, to which it dedicates all its efforts and love, looses all his attributes.

In the recent combats in Shariff, a few Taliban warriors have resisted thousands of elite Western and Northern-Afghans, with bombs, planes, till they all have died. We were the frightened technological kids, the Taliban the old simple warrior with his qualities of bravery and despise for death. Our bravery is in our machines. So now our politicians, far away from the times of Caesar, are terrified. The president stays for hours on the air, and orders to strike down any civil plane coming over Washington political buildings. Enormous security measures are displayed in any encounter on the summit. Thousands of Arabs are interrogated. Patriot laws permit the execution of people without proves. Cameras watch us every where. Our freedoms disappear, as 'political terror', becomes the enemy of our elite. It does not matter that political terror kills far less than industrial, economic, military terrors. It affects those who control us. So now our politicians will increase that control. Big Brother is born. It is also big business. As always in this industrial revolution Britain and Israel, the original Go[l]d religion comes first. Ever corner of those countries has now a big brother camera. The business brings around 650 million $ in revenues. There are almost 3 million cameras watching the British - and they think they are free. What terrifies more is that around 90% of British people are in favor of it. Western technology sends 20 million mines to Afghanistan. Those are obsolete men we kill them. And it puts a few million cameras in our countries. We are still working, useful to the economic ecosystem, so we are merely watched after. Meanwhile Company-mothers make big business. And security systems are big business. A decade ago we already talked of the Metal-farm, and how new technologies of intelligent machines, the metal-Heads, to find econiches in the market, would become the infinite eyes of big-brother matrix, to watch us in every corner. A decade ago it seemed sci-fi. No longer. Those cameras were put in Britain the last decade. What for? lobbies and business. Islamic terror was not still there. Now nobody complains. Now the blown up menage of the mythic Islamic terrorism came handy. The press of course has manufactured that danger. And the mass-media, the telecom and Weapons industry that fees security states, is now manufacturing big brother in each of our countries. All our freedoms disappear to that fictional menace.

Indeed. A comparison. In the road more than one hundred thousand people die every year. If we restricted the speed in our roads - a small limit to our freedom, 10 miles more, many more lives that those Islamic Terrorism has killed all its history would be saved each year. Yet, because we do not want to loose that little freedom of going a little bit faster, we don't stop cars from going over speed. It also happens that measure is not interesting to car companies that lobby against it, to sell their expensive, ever-faster cars. Car terrorism is not a menace enough despite its heavy toll in lives, to curtail our freedom.

Americans have entered a neofascist state, and eliminated the basic freedoms of Islamic citizens, in a new racist age, in which religion and color will become stigmas, because a few thousand dead. They have eliminated their entire democratic system. They have consented. So do British with his cameras, soon other countries will follow. The answer of course is that a big brother system to monitor 'Muslim terrorists', is a huge business, that will profit enormously our politicians and perhaps save the life of a few of them. So the entire Terror State in which we live has jumped to the opportunity. The monster has been created. It reminds me of the Indian scare, that always followed an Indian incident in the colonial days, and massed enough hate to create an Indian massacre.

No, my friend. Mr. Bin Laden, is a madman millionaire. Yet the chances for you to die of Mr. Bin Laden's or any smaller Islamic terrorist attack are infinitely inferior to the chances a child has to die of Hunger, your child has of dying to the hands of a robotic army, the chances your wife has of ding of car accident, the chances you have to die of lung cancer... Similar to those of dying by a ray-strike. And we do not limit our freedoms, and stay home because the sky can fall on our Heads. The freedoms of Man have risks. So we should limit the most risky freedoms such as the freedom to evolve lethal Robots and weapons, we should indeed the freedoms of certain machines and Company-mothers to evolve them and reproduce them. But not the freedoms of human beings. And yet once more, the machines are free, mines, assault weapons, bombs are free. And men have been limited in their basic freedom. Long life to economic terror...

On that view terrorism has become the perfect excuse to create a bigger terror: An orwellian world in which there is no right to express your ideas, (many are trying now to put also the label of terrorist, to those who criticize the system), there is no right therefore to combat the other great terrors of mankind: economic fundamentalism, technological fundamentalism, military fundamentalism, and its consequences: hunger, death and the probable extinction of mankind.

Islamic terrorism? Myth and fiction

The potential for a confrontation of the Western and Islamic civilizations is for all what we have said evident. So it was the confrontation between the Inca and the Spanish civilization, the Chinese and the European civilization and so on. Theoretically...

Yet the reality is very different. It is call 'asymmetric relationships'. A dominant, infinitely more powerful military system, due to its advanced war technology from the west, ab=uses a Neolithic, extremely poor civilization, which becomes in his pale reaction , a perfect scapegoat to invest in military forces.

The danger of the Neolithic, extremely poor civilization is minimal. In this last case, which can be considered the strongest response of a Third World, Neolithic country against a First World, economic power, around 3000 people on the last accounts have died. If we add the few thousands Americans who died, in the raids of Geronimus, Pancho Villa, and Sitting bull, the tally of the "American victims" to 'Global Terrorism' aka Third world guerrillas, the sum might go up to 4000.

How many people have died in Afghanistan, whose 'minister of war' Mr. Bin Laden has declared this war, at the hands of Western Global Militarism, first coming from the British Empire, then coming from the Russian empire, then coming from the American empire?

Millions. Most of them unaccounted. Perhaps as many as 20 million personal mines were left in Afghanistan by the Russians. Imagine that there were in California 20 million personal mines... That would indeed be Global terrorism. That is what the Western, militaristic empire of Russia left in Afghanistan. How many children have died of this mines, will die of this mines, will be maimed, blinded? How many will die of hunger and assault weapons, of winter cold, in the refugee camps?

The Western coalition chooses his victims among the poorest nations of the world. Next Yemen and Somalia, which share with Afghanistan that bottom line of the 10 poorest nations of this planet, seem to be the 'biggest menace to mankind' today. What a joke my friend! What a cowardice, cynicism, brutality shows the Western world once more as it has done since the Times of Columbus. To test our wonderful Weapons in splendid little wars, we choose the poorest, weakest nations, we blow the danger, we massacre them, and then we get the pay check from the bomb factory...

The truth is that Global Terrorism does not exist, surprisingly enough given the way the West has treated the Third World in the past centuries, for the simple reason those people are too poor, too maimed, too hungry, thanks to our Western militarism to harm us.

Why we have created the myth of global terrorism.

If you analyze 'Islamic Terrorism', apart from the open war between Palestine and Israel, considered even by the UNO as a legitimate war only Mr. Bin Laden, a crazy millionaire, who got his fortune from the west, have had muscle to attack us. And yet even Mr. Bin Laden, the 'mad man', not "Global Terrorism" but an individual who has put his personal fortune to do evil, as a mad English man or Japanese man or American man could have done it, is a poor fella.

He is an Afghan Warlord, who had enough self-suicidal+criminal instincts to attack US. Still the WTC massacre was provoked by a sheer chain of coincidences. There were 19 people, they have few money, they were truly lucky.

The rational thing would have been to present Mr. Bin Laden as that kind of 'mad man'. As we said it might had been a Russian with an atomic suitcase stolen from a military depot, a crazy chemist from a factory in Minnesota throwing around Sarin gas... It just happened to be Muslim. So we have created the Islamic scare, to create this splendid little war. It seems not enough to sell those people weapons, inundate them not with aid, doctors, food, but with assault rifles and personal mines. We have created the poverty of Yemen, Somalia and Afghanistan with the goods we sell them. It seems not enough. Now we create the scare of global terrorism, and instead of aid we will send bombs. After all, say the Russians, those Afghanis are actually real warriors. They do not need shields, throwing bombs from the air, protect themselves with the ultimate tank, but have the balls to die for their families, their land. They defeated us, as a few warlords in Somalia defeated the marines. So now we will revenge. It is our chance to massacre them a little bit more.

It is also the perfect opportunity to justify Mr. Putin's mild dictatorship in Russia. To create a similar dictatorship in America with the Patriot Law, the rights to execute foreigners, without proves (secret proves that is), just because we do not like. That is what the Nazis did. All Jews, all Gypsies, all Communists, were potential criminals. Now all poor, all Muslims, are potential criminals.

Global terrorism, given his minimal power, does not exist as a real menace to our society. But Global militarism, western militarism, the main cause of the destruction of this planet, has existed for centuries and now comes with a vengeance. Even if Mr. Bin Laden bought an atomic suitcase to the Russians, and throws it, we should wonder. How the mad man got it? Because a mad, fundamentalist scientist made it, and a mad militaristic regime, Russia manufactured them and put them around European cities. Who made Anthrax but the west? Indeed, Global terrorism is state terrorism from the west, and now it turns out a mad man from the East, with our western money and western weapons its going against us.

If we could reflect on that, we would stop the evolution of western weapons, would control our military depots and destroy all atomic bombs and bacteriological Weapons, would give UNO Bigger power, would create an International Court, would not create the myth of Global terrorism but consider Mr. Bin Laden and all people that collaborated with him, a common criminal, and seek him and kill him. And we would continue with our freedoms, with our peaceful existence... Yet we are interested in the myth of global terrorism, because it is the prefect alibi for State terrorism, for western militarism. So now we can make terminator weapons, we can make Matrix Star War systems, we can mutate new anthrax virus, we can store enough lethal goods as we did in the Cold war to exterminate all of us. In that sense there are other terrorisms of higher destructive power. The Economic terrorist system that creates hunger among billions, and billions of weapons we don't need.

The political/military terrorist system, that deviates massive resources to create those lethal weapons.

The scientific terrorism that invents those weapons.

And only then on the bottom, the powerless, few organizations, aside the 'mad man millionaire', and the 'Hamas, open-war Palestine groups', that are supposed to be "Global terrorism'.

How many people die each year in America because of the gun lobby? 10 times more murders than in Europe... Much more than the madman killed the 11-S.

Indeed, he came in handy. The tendency towards global militarism was so clear that we have been talking about it for years. Now the excuse has been provided.

We can feel happy, we can feel ethic, we can feel again reassured as XIX century men were, about the primitive brutality of the Third world inferior races. Let us massacre them. Let us massacre their black hair/skin children. They are guilty. They are poor. They have been brutalized by us, so they are brutal. In the XXI century, global militarism has found the perfect excuse to return to XIX century primitive racist ideas about the Third world.

So now we don't need to spend even that the o.2% - how generous my friend - we spend in Third World aid. Instead we can jack up another 10% our military budgets, share those huge contracts with our politicians, and use bombs against the poorest nations of the world. No doctors to cure children, no education to solve the problem of women, no help but the Patriot law to scare every single immigrant from the third world.

Read between lines. There were many 'pateras' coming to Europe from Morocco. Many 'mojados' coming from Mexico. Now we can scare them with the patriot law. Be careful, if your visa is outdated we can kill you, execute you. The president, the supreme dictator of the empire can sign that death penalty. He loved to sign them in Texas. Now legally he can sign them against any other human in any other part of the world, without need of a court. We have to go back to the great dictators of the XX century, Stalin and Hitler, to find that privilege. Never though it happened even in the most corrupted of democracies...

Global terrorism does not exist as a real menace to our civilization. Islamic terrorism does not exist as a real menace to our world. Sometimes a mosquito do bother us, and get some blood, but we survive fine. Nobody becomes hysterical unless he is angry for other reasons, unless he has a hidden agenda.

That is the point. We have our hidden agenda which is Global militarism. Indeed, Islamic terrorism is a microbe compared to the potential dangers of Military research in atomic Weapons, bio-chemical weapons and robotic weapons made in the west, that now will get free checks. It is the perfect excuse, though, to end the debate about our systemic massacre of Neolithic cultures, of the Third World, of the poor. They are a blatant prove of the terrorist nature of our economic ecosystems. We were feeling bad about 2 billion people with the rent of the 200 richest men on Earth. Now the return to primitive, racist, Chosen of Gold religions of colonial nature in the west, will erase that little itch in our mind, and degrade all of them as criminals. When only a man, with Western money, with western weapons, with western training has in fact been able to cause minimal harm to the west. And yet, there will be soon a time, as Global militarism grows, and more atomic weapons, biological Weapons, and robotic weapons we make, that indeed a mad man from the west or the east, a few people, will be able to destroy the world. They would be able to make a replicant nano-bacteria that could poison within a week the entire atmosphere (see Bill Joy's article in wired about that, or our book 'The evolution of machines").

Who is the sinner, said a nun writer, 'the one who pay to sin, the one who sins for the pay?'. Who is the sinner, 'the west who invest to make those weapons, the terrorist who buys them?". In any case the size of the west-sin is enormous. Every western nation has its bio-chemical weapons, many have their atomic depots, some are researching now Terminator-like robots... In poor nations only a crazy guerrilla man, a warlord from Afghanistan has touched us. We have to move back to that terrorist attack of Pancho villa, to find a century ago a similar case. Of course global terrorism does not exist but if we insist, we will create.

Global hate does exist. It is logic...

What it does exist is global hate in the Third World towards the first world, because people are not sheeps. They do not say all day 'yes bwana'. They know who we are, what we do to them, how we suck in their money into our financial Nasdaqs, how we help them... selling them weapons, how we despise them, ridicule their cultures, insult their religions. We enslaved them, we killed them, we took their gold, their raw materials, we put them dictators to control them. And now the 3 biggest Western empires, America, Russia, and Britain team together, to massacre back Afghanistan. Revenge now is due. The afghans fought those 3 empires, now we massacre the innocent. To a certain extent we could accept the Afghan war, as part of the usual brutality of the west. Yet the demonization of Islam, the expansion of Global Militarism to other poor nations, to make profits with bombs and lobbies, the destruction of the few freedom left to us in western democracies, long ago corrupted by companies' lobbies, laws like the Patriot law so similar to the first Hitlerian laws... all that we cannot approve. the Wolf shows under the sheep skin its true nature. God help us. Any of the human Gods of peace and love. Which are all the same god with different names. The god of Moses, the god of Christ, the god of Mhmd, peace and love...

Global hate does exist. But none of those billion of poor is a potential criminal. This writer might hate many things about our systems, but he will never take a weapon and shoot a robotic researcher, or a stock-shark, or a dictator. So happens to Third world people. They suffer directly the consequences of our ill designed systems, and if you ask a Muslim, who loves truth, we will tell you what he thinks. That is his freedom. But he will not shoot anyone. He is not guilty because he realizes how we destroy their nations. Only the mad man Osama is guilty and the few who truly help him. Not even those land soldiers, Taliban, who are just soldiers for a pay, as our soldiers are. Kill the warlord, but do not event a Global plot to stop all dialog, all hope of a reform, of our Global real terrorism: an economic ecosystem that prefers to make canons than weapons.

Today there is no dialog with the wrong systems of economical and military power that control a wrong globalization. The result is this frontal hate, against us.

The mad man has done a poor favor to those who suffer in the Third world. Now indeed, the Third world is in a far worse situation that before its radical guerrillas attacked the western symbols of power.

Now, all Americans, even those who were critique to the militaristic society the Pentagon represents, are behind it... So now we enter in an age of two kinds of terrorisms, that in the view of the citizens of both cultures, is subjectively justified: State terrorism, and Third World terrorism. Dialog is about to die. And without dialog, the hope of mankind ends. Now Mr. Sharon will be able to massacre Palestinians without being called a neofascist. Now Mr. bush will be able to create big brother matrix, and nobody will claim for human freedom. Now Mr. Bin Laden or other 'terrorists' will throw an atomic bomb in the west and millions of innocent will die, and the Orwellian nightmare will awake. Now those who tried to reform peacefully the many sickness of our globalization, are left aside. Instead, Human rights diminish and machines, Technology and weapons become supreme. Our most negative analysis of the III Industrial R=evolution are coming soon. This war probably will become 'institutionalized' to increase profits of security industries and control of the common people.

In the process, as new terrorist groups appear, the stronger economic ecosystem will defeat and destroy the last surviving pre-Industrial civilization - Islam. In the process America will increase his bid for Technological evolution instead of human evolution as the means to control the world. The Army will evolve robotics and terminators to avoid human causalities, computers will tag our ideas in the web, and working robotic machines giving them higher 'property' rights than human labor has. Increasingly in America people will be controlled, as potential terrorists, foreigners will be forbidden to immigrate and move freely...

While machines will be produced without limit, and move freely between nations. Ultimately those machines, specially Robots, will substitute and extinguish man. Economical terrorism (the creation of lethal goods that destroy or make man obsolete) will reign supreme...

The real terrorists of the XXI Century, will be ignored.

In the present world dominated by economical languages of power (weapons and money), it is very likely that the future development of this crisis will be along the line that maximizes economical profits in the future. In a 'better world' based in human laws, the solutions of the Afghan War would be different. So we consider also that 'possible future', if our world were ruled by an international organism able to solve disputes between nations. Not being this the case the probable future, will follow the probable lines of our present money-ruled society: Only technological tools will be applied to solve the crisis, and the human factors wont be considered.

The real future, of course will be a middle term, between the two possible futures, the two possible evolutions of our economic and social ecosystems. Unfortunately, if you could travel to the future in 10 years, you will find a world probable closer to the economical solution to this crisis (chapters 10 to 12) than to the humanistic solution of this crisis. In between those two futures we show you, the future will lay.

The Orwellian nightmare

The real menace to mankind, is not - despite all the victims it might cause - third world 'terrorism'=guerrilla warfare, but the robotic r=evolution, the extinction of nature, the poisoning of our planet, the degradation of our culture, and biological verbal ethic languages, by digital information, and the arrogance of Technology, weapons and science... Now all those problems will be conveniently forgotten by our governments, with the easy scare of third world 'terrorism'. So the problem will widen and widen, introducing mankind into the Orwellian world. Global terrorism and perpetual war, a security state, based in the control of the degraded poor, and the irresponsibility of the growing rich can still be avoided if our economical and political elites become more humane, become more intelligent, and more solidarious to mankind at large.

Then one day - courtesy of company-mothers terrorism - also in the North pole there will be an ozone hole, and millions will die of cancer, so Exxon corporation that paid Mr. Bush to reject the Kyoto treaty makes a few million dollars more for his 11000 big stock-holders. And one day, a nano-bacteria able to eat iron will escape a military lab, and eat up within hours the structure of buildings like the WTC - courtesy of military terrorism. And one day, this writer and other anti-globalization, peaceful thinkers trying to solve the problems of mankind, will anger some of our institutions, that might send a Moshad or CIA authorized agent, or some unauthorized terrorist, who will erase the writer. When that happens, probably nobody will complain, nobody will care, as nobody cared when in 1984, Mr. Wilson died, and big Brother kept smiling in the stupid controlled TV box, that directs the minds of mankind, our fears and hates, our tragic future. We will continue writing this magazine, on the "Future", though, because ultimately there are some of us, human beings, that will always cherish the truth and freedom of the Word, and the collective survival of man over the dogmas of science and economics, love over hate, peace over murder, man over machine. Because 'when the truth of the Word is overthrown, murder and corruption lead our societies' A. Camus.

The Sickness of Modern Civilizations

Within that context we have to read the dual events of this fall, the 2001 economical crisis, and the WTC catastrophe, which being a horrendous crime, should not be enlarged as it has been to provoke a collective national hysteria and war spirit, seeked for by a social organism of history - America - that is becoming sick by an excess of weapons and violence, of arrogance and power, contested by other civilization in decay - the Islamic civilization. Indeed, when considering the civilizations involved in the World trade massacre, and the reasons of their confrontation, we have to analyze 3 civilizations which are at the center of that event:

- The American civilization controlled today by Jewish lobbies.

- The Islamic civilization controlled today by military inquisitions.

- And the Jewish civilization, which is the connection between the other two, and the key, dominant element of the Semite wars, in as much as it is dominant in the American civilization and through the might military, economical and political power of America, will decide the future outcome of this crisis.

Those 3 civilizations which no long ago dreamt of building their paradises on Earth, are today militarized, sliding fast into a short of neofascism parallel to that of Italy in the 20s... Violence brings more violence, and violence ends up with the destruction of cultures and civilizations. Those 3 civilizations are today on the brink of collapse, because their economical and political sickness have increased to a point in which his human goals have disappeared, their ethic laws, and religions have been abandoned, and today, murder and corruption rules them all. The sickness of their energy/information systems is evident. The cause of those sickness is the inner cancer that has destroyed all other civilizations in the past: the cancer of weapons and monetary corruption, that substitutes the search for Human goods, and the guide of the law, either national or religious.

In Islam a verbal civilization, corruption by weapons shows in two evident phenomena: the division of the culture in multiple statelets ruled by military dictatorships, and the degradation of the religion of Peace into an inquisition of war.

In Judaism, the corruption of the culture by money, is so old that we will trace the Jewish Paradox to the fight of Moses Vs The Golden Calf, and the cycles of Holocausts it causes. Judaism indeed, fluctuates between hope and tragedy, between the acceptance of his role as an informative elite of mankind within the different nations of the world, and his worship of money and ab=use of other cultures with financial orders. Today Judaism unfortunately lives in an age of financial corruption, profiteering and abuse of other cultures through monetary orders, that in the past has been the origin of the cycles of holocausts we will analyze in detail. Judaism is indeed in a low moment, sliding away from the ethics of Moses, into arrogance of Aaron, abandoning diplomacy, using war and manipulating subjectively all information, to achieve his goals...

Finally America, which also seeked for a better world, in which man was the center of all things, and freedom, justice, wealth, and the pursuit of happiness, the ideals of the nation, has now become through a long process of political corruption, a country no longer ruled by laws, but by financial orders, by lobbies bid for laws that no longer represent the will of the people.

The result of the military sickness of Islam, and the monetary sickness of Judaism and America is evident. America today follows the policies of Israel, because in a political system based in Lobbyism the wealthiest Americans, the Jewish community bids for laws and International politics in his favor. Those policies confront a militaristic culture, Islam, which responds with violence to the political abuses of Israel and America. The result is that America has become since the Jewish Americans reached the height of its financial and informative systems, in the 70s, during the Watergate and Yon Kippur, engaged itself in Middle East violence, far more than it would be desirable for the goals of the country.

Since Israel no longer obeys the rules of international diplomacy, of verbal dialog, the ethics of Moses, but the arrogance of Aaron, and Islam resists those impositions, with violence America, has entered on dubious wars that could have been solved by diplomatic means, in Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Kosovo... wars with grave consequences for the civil population of those countries.

Moreover a hellish game is at play between Islam and Jewish America: war makes profits, so wars are positive for America&Israel, as long as they win them. Hence there is no interest in making Islam peaceful again, and support democracies there. So America&Israel prefer to back military dictators against the desires of freedom of the people of those countries. This has long ago understood by the common people of Islam, from where the present hate towards America arouses in all those countries. The result of those wars and dictators buttressed with western Weapons is the present state of Islam. Today Islam is immersed in a process of inner violence and social desegregation, in which the people is confronted with the military governments that rule them. On the side of the people only priests give some assistance. Hence the revival of religion in those countries.

It is a grave situation from where fundamentalist terrorism has aroused. But the destruction of civilizations is contagious.It is a spider game, specially when the ethics of both civilizations is based in the "eye for eye" Law. So Israel has also become fundamentalist, violent, fascist, acclaiming a dictator of his own. And now due to the WTC attack, that social desegregation and violence present in Islam and Judaism, has through terrorism and the Jewish rule, infected the American civilization which is reaching a point of individual, ideological and national violence (caused by the gun craze, the violence of TV, and the growth of militarism) close to a point of no return - what we called in our Summer issue, the age of neofascism.
