Myths are useful to manipulate people

Recently there have been a lot of literature about the use of myths in religion. Religions might have been born, according to such theories, fruit of the need to eliminate the fear of death with myths. Myths are like placebo medicines, that keep the patient happy, even if the drug does not cure his illness. Myths calm our fears. Myths are basic substitutes of truths, when the truth is too ugly or perhaps too dangerous to know.

We widen here the concept of myth in that line of thought. A myth is a partial truth, even an outright lie which is used by a caste of power, or a provider of information, to hide dangerous truths, and limit knowledge among a mass of believers.

A myth is the deformation of a truth, that becomes biased to favor a given point of view, most likely the point of view of power. Myths are helpful to maintain power in the hands of a caste, a reduced group of people that holds passive the great mass of the population, thanks to the use of myths.

The elements of myths. The myths of democracies

Four elements are fundamental to the myth. The myth in itself, the truth which the myth covers, the myth-maker that profits from the myth, thanks to the control that the myth gives him over a social mass. Finally the receptor of the myth: the myth-'sucker', that apparently reaches a new degree of happiness when he believes on the myth, but actually on the long term he is abused and behaves against his own interests, by acting under the spell of the myth. The classic case is the religious case. In “subjective” religions, a caste of power offers a myth of salvation and anthropomorphic superiority to a social mass, which believes the myth and in search of salvation obeys the caste of priests. The priests profit from the believers; the myths is the hook, and the capacity to believe natural to man, the vehicle that allows the myth to exist. The hard truth -that we probably die, become molecules and end our existence- is the ugly side that the myth covers and nobody wants to talk about.

So in the study of democratic myths, four elements also will be considered. a) The caste of power that profits from the myths: the corporations. b) The believers of the myths: the citizens of democracies. c) The myths: citizens control politicians and governments, democracies work for citizens, and corporations are subject to the laws of democracies. d) The nature of the truth: democracies are systems of power controlled by monetary orders, given by corporations who have exclusive rights to invent money in banks and stock-markets, money latter used to pay laws (lobbyism, money campaign), promote products (advertising, warfare, propaganda, consume), and control population (laws of property, labor laws, laws of behavior).

Of all the methods to impose myths -half lies- upon a bewildered herd, two are paramount: the mentioned adulation of the believer, and the use of rhetoric; what we might call the semantic myth. The semantic myth is a very common myth based in the structure of speech.

On the one hand, people have certain semantic meanings in his brain. They call God a certain concept, the creator of the Universe. They call democracy a certain concept, the government of the people. On the other hand, People also tend naturally to tell the truth, because the truth is, exists, and it makes them feel they are, they exist successfully. In turn they also tend to believe what people say. Put those two elements together we have the tools of the myth-maker, the liar. The liar will know that people are going to believe him. The liar will know that if he uses a word people will believe that word is. So you say you are a democratic government and the people tend to believe in the magic word “democracy”, which means “the government and freedom of the people”: if you say you are democratic, you are supposed to govern for the people, so your acts will be considered positive. People will then believe in your government a priori. From then on the myth-maker just has to hide and hide, and hide... all what he does against the government of the people.

How corporations, the myth makers hide the fact that they govern instead of the people? Using rhetoric, a literary way of explaining reality, which adopts two basic forms:

- Fiction: the systematic promotion of fiction as a mode of expression, which was basically ignored, before democracies and metal-communicators appeared, and today has become overwhelming. Once fiction has been installed, words become meaningless, and corporations can govern you through another language, digital thought, mathematics, prices, salaries and money.

- Creating a “theatrical fiction” called politics, that seems to give power to certain individuals hired by corporations, called politicians, grouped in political parties, organizations corrupted systematically by those corporations. You believe politicians work under the will of the people, while in fact they govern and are chosen, and hired by companies. To reinforce that theatrical fiction called politics there is an added myth called voting.

We will study in this page several aspects of the democratic myth. The historic development of democracies as the government of companies, and the different fictions and rhetoric words used to cover it.

Rhetoric myths

Religious myth-makers use extensively the semantic myth. Go[l]d religions, define God as the creator of the Universe, and man as his only son [rhetoric of adulation]. Then they set themselves as prophets, “envoys of God”. People let priests do anything because they are supposed to be sent by the creator of the Universe. Rhetoric and myth are synonymous here.

In democracies the semantic myth=lie is also very much in use. The military uses it constantly. Before democracies existed, the Ministry of weapons was called the ministry of war. Citizens did not like it, but they were not asked about it. Warriors made war, and you were killed if you protested. So the ministry had its real name. It did not have to hide. Now the ministry of war is called the Department of defense, according to the semantic myths of democracies, that never call the truth by its proper name. Specially when the truth does not favor the myth that “democracies work for good citizens, for peace, and for the betterment of mankind”. To hold that myth it is necessary that we transform aggressive weapons into defensive instruments. Yet most weapons are by definition attack weapons. Shields are defensive weapons. Swords are attack weapons. Shields prevent harm, swords do harm. 80% of our arsenals however are missiles, tanks, planes that attack. They do not defend. In our sophisticated world we can consider international organizations, peace forums, touristic, economical and cultural agreements positive forces to peace, defensive weapons. Worldwide organizations such as UN would be a positive force to peace. We reject all that. We have attack weapons, national parades and military organizations, propaganda that portrays other nations as evil, myths that accept war, etc. We have much more swords than shields, missiles than barricades.

We make war, we have ministries of war, not defense ministries. We menace others, bomb them in far away regions, annihilate entire populations to attack, not to defend ourselves. Attack and defense are in fact opposite words. This is the essence of rhetoric, of the semantic myth: to use exactly the opposite word to the truth. So we say instead of attack defense, instead of the dictatorship of companies, the government of the people. We even go so far to defend such policies as to change the Laws of Evolution, the Laws of the Universe=God, and affirm that species are cannibal, attack themselves, compete within the same species, which is exactly the anti-truth of what Darwin said and biology proved; so we can justify war, economical competence, and the abuse of the poor. All those are rhetoric myths fundamental to our suicidal societies. So people will believe we are defending ourselves, when we massacre other citizens, and so they let the “defense ministry” to act. They will believe to follow the natural law, when they compete against other humans, and so corporations will be able to divide humanity and win, control humanity for the benefit of machines... Since what corporations really do is to behave as company-mothers, to reproduce and evolve their machines.

The semantic myth is thus essential to the military, economic and political power. Yet since the military speaks with weapons, companies with money and politicians with words, is specially useful to politicians. They call the system that govern us: “a democracy”, which means the government of the people. When in fact the people do not govern at all in democracies. Yet if you attack democracies; you are then accused of going against “the government of the people”, when you just want to create a real democracy. Again when you attack a certain ideology of Go[l]d, you are also told to attack the real God. Yet you do not attack God, you attack an ideology that has the arrogance to pretend it knows and talks directly to God. When you attack democracies, you attack an ideology that pretends to control people, without their knowledge, using all kind of myths, as those explained above.

So let us explain not the myths, but the “truths of democracies”, both in their historic development, as a theatrical mask to hide the expansion and evolution of economic ecosystems, made of machines, money and company mothers, and their present form, as a tool that maintains the dictatorship of those company mothers and their machines over mankind.

Birth of the government of companies: Holland, XVII C.

In the XVII C. with the arrival of gunboats, and the beginning of the evolution of machines by the scientific method, in Amsterdam starts a new ecosystem, the ecosystem of machines and company-mothers that preys and soon expands its machines, monetary systems and reproductive companies, over all other “natural and historic ecosystems” of religious or military power. The ecosystem of machines and its methods of control of human population (parliamentary governments of politicians hired by companies) soon expands to Great Britain. They impose the goal of company-mothers -to reproduce machines, in that age gunboats- to the entire nation, with all kind of parallel myths (nationalism, imperialism, Gold religions, stock-markets).

As a result of those policies, the Dutch first and then the British, constructed so many gunboats, and developed such an excellent artillery, that they virtually destroyed all sea rivals and conquered the world. Once all sea networks of communication were on their hands, the new ecosystem of company-mothers reproducing gunboats established itself in America, extinguishing the Human beings, found there, and founding The United States, where the economic ecosystem ruled by corporation will reach its most perfect form. America was a new land, where there were no previous institutions based in human ethics and aesthetics so Companies could select reality, ideas, even the people allowed to emigrate there, by their affinity to their goals of existence. In this manner, once the Indian paradise of carbolife was extinguished; America became a perfect place to build the new brave world, the economic ecosystem, which today company-mothers rule supreme.

A new expansion of that ecosystem happens at the beginning of the XIX C in the European Continent. When France “exploited”, and “died” as an agricultural civilization (end of the ancient regime), it was converted into a replica of the winning civilization (England), expanding that civilization all over Europe (French revolution). The victory of the new ecosystem was then complete in the Western World. The new ecosystem of science and economics, achieves world dimensions. The organic ecosystems of history -the social nations of man- were now scientific, economic ecosystems, no longer, religious, natural ecosystems, based in informative networks of words and laws, and carbolife energy, and products; but based in mathematics, and money, i.e. in metal-machines.

It was then when the economical organism starts its amazing rate of growth, till covering in another two centuries the entire Earth. Today that new ecosystem is a world wide organism. Such organism and its 2 networks of information and energy, technological science, and company-mothers, evolves and reproduces machines, scientific information and monetary wealth at an amazing, ever increasing rate.

The new languages of digital information create the Earth's future

To that aim, company-mothers had to achieve a political goal: to eliminate all independent power of organizations that deliver orders with words (love religions, legal bodies) and give total freedom to those organizations that deliver orders with numbers, which is the language of science and company-mothers use to evolve and reproduce machines.

This is in essence what they achieved with democracies: the destruction of all hierarchical systems of verbal power, and their substitution by hierarchical systems of digital power, money and science. Of course to hide that assault to the very essence of human intelligence, our verbal language (I think therefore I am), all this was disguised with rethoric of “verbal freedom”, and the absurd concept, that truth does not exist, in verbal languages.

There is an absurd belief, a myth in modern thinking that says truth cannot be found in social sciences. That there are many truths in social sciences, unlike in physical sciences, where there is only one “scientific truth”, and so we should respect any opinion about our societies on equal basis.

In essence they deny the possible existence of a science of history, and a science of economics. Those who hold that idea, add that if there were only a truth about social systems, there would not be freedom of thought. They misunderstand the meaning of freedom and the meaning of thought. We think in order to be efficient in the real world. We do not think (beyond the realm of imagination and fiction-writing), just for fun, or in search of abstract truthness, but to improve our lives. So we do not expect freedom of thought if we decide to have a coffee. There are certain steps to make that coffee and we follow them. We do not have freedom of thought when we drive in a road. It is considered primitive and uncivil to drive in the middle of the road. Roads are a system of distribution of energy, that require a certain design and certain laws of behavior to maximize the efficiency of the people that use roads [travel in minimal time and with minimal risks]. So happens with societies. We want to live in societies that are correctly designed and managed by laws that are just, and obtain the maximum satisfaction for all citizens. Such design of a social system -our nation- which basically is a macro-organism of human beings, organized to distribute among them energy and information in the best possible way, is not free, but ruled by laws, the laws of nature, the Universal laws that make certain social organisms more efficient than others.

In the same way a road system has certain optimal design, a society of human beings has a certain optimal design. A chaotic road system provokes many accidents and death. A chaotic social nation provokes social illness such as wars, poverty [lack of energy] and ignorance [lack of information]. It is then absurd to proclaim that we should not try to design a well-run society according to the laws of social organisms, and instead arguing eternally in parliaments and campaigns about it.

Why then we do not have a clear true concept of human societies that benefit us, and make our societies well-designed? Because company-mothers, and the economic ecosystem that control us are not about mankind, but about machines that often prey on mankind. So the first thing companies did when they took power, was to prevent organized, well-run political systems, that could oppose to their preying on nature, labor, and other cultures.

Apparently in our societies Verbal thought is free. In reality is merely powerless. Laws, ethic religions and verbal thought do no longer have power to their rival language of monetary information, a control now in the hands of banks and stock-markets, that could bribe through lobbying our governments. To achieve that company-mothers established in Holland, and then Britain and America, weak systems of legal power, called democracies where many politicians, many organic Heads would exist. In this manner governments were made inefficient. Any biologist knows that an efficient organism has only one Head. So happens to company-mothers today, with hierarchical systems of world power, and a single Stock-market network. They work as efficient organisms that prevent the Human Word system to rule our societies. Not so, the verbal politicians of democracies, who work in non hierarchical organizations (governments) with 3 Heads: executive, courts and parliament. This third Head was in turn the most powerful because it was controlled by companies and castes of traders that could buy laws (lobbies) or buy their political site, (nepotism) and act to favor their companies.

The need for strong economic power, is in fact the reason why democracies have weaken the power of their 'verbal brain', dividing it in different “Heads” (judges, executive, parliaments), of which the parliament of traders (in the past chosen only by the rich, today bought with campaign money) is the more powerful organ. So in democracies the freedom of words and the will of citizens to rule societies in favor of their natural needs is just a placebo freedom, expressed by writers, politicians and voters, and then denied by lobbies, the rights of companies to print money, and the limits of political power expressed in constitutions.

Coinocracies and stokcracies, the real names of democracies

Athens, a culture of money, based in silver coins, invented for the first time in the Greek coast, a few years before democracies appeared, was the first democracy that perfected the system of powerless verbal thought, which was hiding the real power of their sea merchants. Holland imitated that system, now to back the power of gunboats and company-mothers. Athens was in fact a society that never worked politically and could not defend itself against real dangers. Finally it was destroyed by a militaristic nation (Sparta), far more efficient as a political system. Greek coinocracies were indeed the primitive version of modern capitalist democracies, that have created all kind of “brakes” and “limits” to legal, verbal power, to enhance the digital power of money, and the orders given by hierarchical company-mothers.

Of course all this is rhetorized with myths of “freedom”, and negative ideas about the evilness of verbal power. Basically people are told that government is dangerous, and it has to be controlled, despite being chosen by the people, and act with the biological, natural, pro-human tendencies of verbal thought. While companies' power is downplayed, their reproduction of money in stocks, and the way that money controls humans as workers and consumers, is hidden and ignored. Instead we talk of “efficiency”, and “freedoms of the market”, which are not human freedoms, but the freedom of machines and their company-mothers to evolve and reproduce them, thanks to their privileges of credit, that governments and humans lack.

Once the power of the language of human beings, words, is divided, and destroyed, companies could establish new language of power: numbers, prices, money. To control this language, they established through stock-markets the absolute right to reproduce that language without limit, merely printing small papers called stocks. Then they organized humans as workers and slaves for companies, creating the “dictatorship of democracies”.

Languages deliver informative orders that organize any ecosystem, or social organism, by means of informative networks. The top predator of the ecosystem gives informative orders by controlling through its language of power all other organisms of its ecosystem. What is the top predator language of our world? Digital information either of monetary or scientific character that controls our life energy (salaries, prices) and information (science).

In this manner, in digital democracies, the future is designed as a machine ecosystem, by money, computers, machines and their company-mothers... The massive reproduction of paper money by company-mothers has created our present stockratic society which is based on monetary power. Indeed, only the biological process of evolution and reproduction of money can explain the present political organization of human societies by monetary numbers and the extinction of verbal religions and power of verbal thought. When company shares were invented as a new species of money, and company-mothers established their control of that money, with legal rights to reproduce it exclusively in stock-markets the capacity of companies to command mankind grew enormously. Companies of gunboats, literally became money and their weapons (their “offspring”) multiplied as fast as money did. Then company mothers radiated both species in unlimited quantities, cre[dit]ating (credit=creation) the ecosystem of machines with both species. Thus our modern world was born. Radiations of money and weapons have always had a lot of power. With paper-money (stocks) and weapons as the product companies reproduced, both species of metal acquired even more power. The Amsterdam stock-market where shares were traded soon found that its currency and weapons were extremely powerful. Companies could do whatever they wanted because they were inventing cheap paper-money through shares, and paying then with that money, laws and politicians, and citizens through wages and slavery. Companies soon controlled all Anglo-Saxon governments, and after the Napoleonic wars most western nations.

Today “democratic dictatorships” control the entire world, and the reproduction of money by company mothers is made at worldwide scale through World stock-markets.

Democracies are not governments of the people by the people with laws that protect human rights, but stockracies controlled by digital, monetary orders. They are political systems ruled by company-mothers and “stockrats” (owners of companies) who have the same privileges as the old aristocrats - control of the tools of metal-power, money and weapons. Stockrats also have no legal responsibility, protected as they are by the law of anonymous societies, and its legal exemptions, as aristocrats were protected by special courts and laws. Companies and their elite, stock-holders, are the only free species in our society.

A true human government based on the ethics of human survival could halt metal radiations and control money radiations. It could vote in a system of laws to foster human senses and penalize radiations of terminator machines. Human societies need to be ruled by a strong hierarchical system of verbal power that also controls of money cre[dit]ation. Today only companies of machines have hierarchical systems. Humans are divided in nations, that become submissive to the needs of company-mothers, creating wars (cycles of war), that adapt to those needs, and pushing the rights of companies over the rights of human beings. Since they exist merely to conceal the power of the companies they obey...
