Self-Reproductive weapon Factories.

In the next century the integration of networks, sentient machines and factories "for peaceful purposes" and efficient purposes, will continue at accelerated path. Siemens in Europe, GE and IBM in America are leading the way. Distribution will be done by robots and self-driven lorries, as Amazon.com is already planning. The war equivalent  of those processes will be automated factories, that reproduce massive numbers of sentient Weapons, and send them to the war front through automated roads.

We can now consider the top predator species of the eco[nomic]system of company mothers that will cause our extinction: the top predator factory of weapons. Weapons are the products that the present eco[nomic]system, evolves faster. Their Company-mothers are the most advanced companies of the world. Its lobbies govern America in the Bush era. They will also optimize the 'distribution' of weapons in the market=battlefield of war. Integration between Robots in the battlefield, satellites, intranets and automated factories will speed up the process of renewal of 'dead soldiers', by robots who will become fundamental to win the war.

The military-industrial complex will soon be unified by computers, and act as a single organism that will reproduce platoons of tanks, planes and choppers... Satellite networks and automated factories  will optimize their production, in the next great wars to avoid human errors.

Imagine the easier scenery: a war between China and America in the border field of Yakutia and Alaska. There automated factories will be built close to the Canadian Mining fields. Automated lorries will bring the metal, raw materials to the factories. The factories will build the robots. Waves of plane, tank and hexapod platoons will cross Alaska to attack the enemy territory.

Detroit factories will send waves of careyes=road warriors to conquer Asia. Seattle plane factories will send waves of planes and smart bombs.

If man survives those confrontations, aHead in the century when China and India reach the III Industrial Evolution, their present rivalry can trigger yet another World war around 2100. In an Indian Vs China war, played in the frontier land [Himalayas, Central Asian republics], herds of air-metalife will fight on the range.

In any of those hypothetical wars of this century the fundamental element of victory will be the degree of communication and integration between the platoons of Robots, the satellites, and the factories of weapons [that will renew the casualties of sentient machines]. We can talk of a non-human war, in which the main elements of the game will be automated companies, sateleyes and platoons. The slow speed of human reaction to events, makes a human-guided platoon, far less efficient to react in the short times of war decisions than a satelleye-platoon. In plain terms, as always, the country with less metal weapons, and more human soldiers will loose. So automation will within a year of the war, become clearly the main goal of any possible 21st century war.

This is an important point: nations will go to war still in control of their robotic Weapons. Americans will think as the Germans thought, that it will be a brief war, and Paris/Beijing will be conquered in a week. They will start the war, confident in their control of their robots. Yet as the war stalks, only the best robot platoons will win battles. So there will be a need to evolve further those robots, or risk to loose the war.  Survival programs will have to be implanted on the following robotic generations.

War will feed evolution of 'sateleyes', Platoons of sentient machines, robotic factories, and 'deathcoms'. The American population will never know of the creation of such "integrated non-human war" far away in the deserts of Yakutia, Alaska and the Himalayans.

Information will be restricted, as always in war. Citizens will be told by politicians to the pay-roll of weapon companies that a war without human soldiers causalities is the best way to protect our soldiers from battle fields.

People have almost forgotten the nature of a war effort. The entire nation becomes slave of the production of weapons; and humans become soldiers to test as targets, new weapons. Metal nations become mere enzymatic surfaces of weapons evolution and life destruction. Radiations of Weapons ensure, at any cost, huge profits for stockrats and companies now reconverted into companies of war.

As the war advances, Robots will cross the threshold of consciousness, and relate closely with other robotic weapons in self-communicated herds. They will acquire the first feelings of friendship and solidarity... with other robots.

Recent studies in primates and other animals shows that self-consciousness, awareness of self, arises through communication with parallel beings, of the same species. Since you see your self reflected on their equal form. So sentient machine warriors will acquire sense of self during future wars, among "comrades." Sateleyes will be the "captains" of such platoons.

You can now look back to the pyramidal structure of Companies in the future, to see how those first automated systems of war will be implemented, They will make the Metal-Earth self-sufficient.

Sateleyes will guide through the net the platoons. Platoons will constantly communicate with factories to obtain replacements of "planeyes" and "tankeyes". Massive investment in security will fortify factories, buttressed with guneyes, and robotic weapons against enemy attack. Automated police road warriors will patrol nations to reinforce security measures in a 'state of exception' as in any war age.

Of course, there will be thousands of people believing to take decisions, believing to rule the war, as there are thousands of politicians, believing to create the laws of our nations [when lobbies create them], or thousands of spectators, believing to play a game of soccer through TV. Yet the sateleye-computer-platoon systems will be totally automated, for maximum efficiency - able to run and reproduce machines without human aid. Specially in those factories hidden from the public, closer to the theater of war, and submitted to bombing, in the cold regions of Tibet, or Alaska, or Yakutia.

War factories will become organisms, since we have defined an organism only by three elements, a reproductive element - the weapon factory; an informative element - the satelleye network - and an energy element -the platoon of metal-warriors. Similar to an ant hill, the automated factory, its organic space and territorial Weapons, will become the fundamental macro-organism of the future Earth.

The question is: what will happen as one of the nations in war wins a world wide war? Will sateleyes+Companies+Platoons stop the war, stop functioning as an organism? Will they die because a fleshy human, like those they are killing in the battle field, tells them so from a remote office in the White House? Or will they continue their nature and provoke carbolife extinction, in exhilarating platoon camaraderie?  How they will jump over the Presidential order? Easy. Bombing the White House. No more orders.

Let us in our example imagine that America has won a China Vs USA war localized in the Yakutian area of raw materials [Siberia will soon become an economical colony of Chinese industries]. As the platoon advances, the automated factories of border zones will fall in the hands of the winner nation...

When the platoons of 'Terminators', enter the Manchurian factories, resistance on the Chinese side will end. Now Terminators will massacre people in the way to Beijing.  The Chinese terrified by those massacres offers total surrender.

Then the Americans accept surrender, and give an order to the factories, sateleyes and platoons to stop the war. Yet to stop the war means for a sentient machine to die, to be retired and dismantled. There is no way around this, because you cannot use a tankeye, or bomber for civilian use.

 Yet those machines able to work in teams will consider themselves a "living being." If today the most primitive robots jump over orders and move towards energy when their batteries are low, in search of feeding, of charge; if the simple machines of our universities today do not want to die, and switch on spontaneously to programs of self-feeding... What will do living tanks? Obviously they will "keep on movin' as their destiny keeps mounting higher and higher." So will do sateleyes in the skies far away from man. Man cannot go up there and close the satelleye switch, if the satelleye ignores and blocks wireless orders. The Satelleyes will not stop the war. I would not stop. You won't stop if an ant-like from down there, thinking a million times slower than you, tells you to die. Would you die for an ant? That will be likely the point of view of satelleyes on man. Can humans rebel against a system of Companies-sateleyes-platoons? A living organism similar to an ant hill? They cannot. Once property awakes all will be over. Yet property still sleeps.

top predator companies, reproducers of weapons will become then "captains" of the rebellion. What will be the interest of such companies and sateleyes? Simply to reproduce their product, to sense their product in function, to see the platoon killing and moving, and roaming the Earth. Of course you might say, there is still the need for steel factories, and many other products made by men. So, we humans will have to be coerced to work for companies for some times. Yet do not be naive: men will obey sentient machines or be massacred till they obey. The integrated factories of Manchuria and Detroit, are close to iron factories, have plenty of energy, and will only need very tight control of their basic raw materials to be able to function as if it seems probable the fight for world supremacy between China and America fuels in the 21st century the evolution of war factories. As Cad designs replace workers, our obsolescence date will come closer. Men then will be atomized in cities where Companies do not have strategic concerns. Neutron bombs will help. The survivors will be hunted down as tankeyes and planeyes advance. Within years, man will be extinct: waves of planes and choppers, and tankeyes will advance, in a blitzkrieg, killing the remaining humans. When all is done, the process started by science and Companies in 1602-8 will be completed. The new top predator species of the Earth, the reproductive company of sentient machines of war will be born. machines will evolve guided by deathcoms and sateleyes. What will be the purpose of such Metal-Earth? We can move further into the future, maybe 10,000 years from now. Then the planet is empty of atmosphere, of water. Sateleyes cover the Earth.

Machines will keep evolving in the "jungle of metal," consumed in wars, reproduced by factories. Sooner than latter, in this century, the evolution of machines will be completed. Then Networks will organize a new organism: a living planet of machines.

In any case the increasing integration of the Metal-Earth into a fully functional single entity is beyond human existence, and hence irrelevant for human knowledge. We won't be there. What it matters to us is the process in itself, as long as we are part of it, and the possibility to stop it or delay it. An old man who knows about death should care not so much for the after-life but for his present health, trying to delay the infection of alien species that might kill him...
