THE LIVING UNIVERSE: A THEORY OF UNIFICATION
The problem of searching for a Unifying Theory, that explains the Universe, seems more a question of wrong methods of knowledge than of a limited human intelligence. Plainly speaking, Modern science constricted by the scientific method and its mathematical limits is not suit to find a Unifying Theory of reality. Since mathematics, a spatial language based in geometry, mainly provide spatial descriptions of reality. Thus they can only at best unify those spatial properties, in search of the ultimate force/s and particle/s origin of all the other spatial particles/forces of the Universe. Yet in the case those ultimate substances of reality are found, mathematics would still leave aside the second central issue of any Unifying Theory: How to unify the Events of Time?... Both in the present, spatial reality, and in the flows from past to future... Which means to answer questions such as: Why things behave in the way they behave? Why things have the forms and functions they have? How those functions, forms and behaviors of things create the events of the present, spatial Universe? Or: Why things exist and become extinguished from past to future? What are the ultimate substances origin of all things of the Universe in the past? And what is the process by which they come to an end in the future? Those basic questions to achieve a Unification of Universal events are hardly made in modern science. Neither science is looking for the second Unifying "element" of reality (besides a Universal spatial force/particle): a Universal Event that becomes the original event from which all other Time Events of the Universe can be deduced. This site is dedicated to answer both questions, the ultimate particles in space, and the ultimate events in time. To that aim we will be using all the languages of information and sound theories deviced by mankind, since mathematics alone are a poor language for understanding the temporal proerties of the Universe. It follows that the scope of this web is wider than any mathematical Theory of Unification, (Unification of Physical forces). Since the knowledge of both, the fundamental events in time and the fundamental particles in space, the Universe is made of, could unify under the same simple principles, besides physics, all scientific disciplines, and species sciences study, including biological species, and human societies. Those unifying principles used in this web to analyze a wide range of Universal species, from atoms to Universes, from humans to societies, from languages to Gods, are very few. And they can be easily deduced from an initial, tautology, the fact that we live in a Universe of Space-Time: "We exist in a Space-Time Universe made of Temporal Information and Spatial Energy, the 2 fundamental substances of the Universe, which have transferred their properties and relationships, origin of all Natural Laws, to all species of Reality, through the infinite repetitions of a simple Universal Event: A transference of Spatial Energy and/or Temporal Information, among a certain number of individual species." - Thus the unifying truth of all Realities is that ultimate duality of the Universe, composed of 2 substances, space=Energy, and Time=Information. Space and time, the 2 unifying concepts of physics, are equivalent to energy and information, the 2 unifying principles of biological and social sciences. Due to an abstract error in the mathematical definition of Space-Time, today we use two different scientific jargons for those synonymous words, , a fact that breaks the unity of the physical Universe of "Space-Time", and the biological Universe of "Energy and Information". So the first step on our quest for Unification, will be to correct that abstract error, and unify those equivalent substances, establishing the dual nature of all what exists, and the properties of energy and information. - Given the fact that all what exists is a combination of spatial energy and temporal information, the fundamental event of the Universe, is also a tautology proved by the existence of only those 2 primary substances: All what species do is to transfer their energy and information among themselves... Either in process of feeding (energy absorbtion), perception (Informative absorbtion); reproduction (repetitition of your energy and information in other region of the Universe), and social evolution (communication of energy and information among similar species, that organize themselves into complex social organisms, guided by energy/information networks.) We call those 4 Universal sub-events originated by the Unifying Event, the 4 arrows of existence. The result of the infinite combination of such Universal events is the Game of Existence we all play. - As a result of the constant repetition of those 4 arrows of organicism, all what exists in the Universe, has a similar, homologus structure, which has been described by different sciences with different jargons. Of all those jargons, the one that describes the reality of all those species with higher accuracy, is the jargon of biology, specifically the concept of an organism. Since those 4 arrows of behavior described above are in fact the 4 properties biology uses to define a living organism, as "a social gathering of similar species (called cells) that share energy and information among them, and are able to feed, perceive and reproduce." - So the fundamental particle of the Universe is again a tautological particle, defined by the 2 substances of the Universe and the Events they case: The fundamental particle is an organism made of energy and Information. It is not a material form, but a series of structural and biological events between energy and information, that define all Universal species as organic systems. - Since, once formed, any organism will look for energy to feed his body, information to feed his Head, and when information and energy is abundant, it will share and communicate that energy/information with similar species, growing from micro to macro-social organisms, or causing reproductive events, that repeat the species in a closer region of the Universe. - We conclude that what we call the Laws of Science, will in all cases be deduced either from the properties and relationships between energy and information, or the events performed by living organisms which manifest in their structure those properties of spatial energy and temporal information common to all Universal species. It is therefore fundamental, to understand... ,,,the ultimate nature of spatial energy and temporal Information... ..., and how those two substances relate to each other. Since the laws, events and species of the Universe, will be a repetition at different scales, with different degrees of complexity, of the most simple events and forms that can be shaped with a minimal quantity of energy (a "quantum" of spatial energy), and a minimal quantity of time (a cycle of temporal information or "clock"). Some of those basic events and properties of what we called the "Game of Existence", are already known to classic science, and can be easily "translated" to our unifying jargon: - Those properties of energy and information, the key to unlock the causes of reality, are also dual, and often antagonic, creating the paradoxes, balances, and trans-form-ative events of the Universe. Thus for example energy is extended, lineal, explosive; while information is small, implosive, cyclical. So informative species, such as eyes or brains, are small and cyclical; while energy species, such as weapons or bodies are lineal, big. - Energy tends to gather with energy and information with information, in social, symbiotic processes, while information tends to control energy, and energy to destroy information in darwinian events. So we find that things which are similar come together in social herds. - Therefore all individuals in the Universe, try to gather in social groups, to share efficiently energy and information, becoming organized in systems, waves, herds, and organisms, by the networks of energy and information they share, from atoms that become galaxies, to men, that become citizens of nations, believers in a common network of information, called traditionally a social god. - Thus the energy quanta of any organism tend to gather in regions called bodies, and the information clocks of any organism tend to gather in regions called Heads. It follows that all Universal Heads and Bodies will share common properties derivative of the primary properties of energy and information of the Universe. They shape together a fully functional organism of energy and information, in which a delicate balance between the capacity of information to control energy, and the capacity of energy to destroy information is achieved, as both act symbiotically to the common end of maintaining the organism with enough supply of both substances. - Those 2 antagonic acts described by a modified principle of Energy Conservation: "Energy always dies by trans-forms itself into Information... and vice-versa", gives birth to the two fundamental sub-events of the Universe, death: transformation of in-form-ation, form into energy; and life - transformation of energy into in-form-ation. - It follows that in processes of life, information dominates over energy. So as an organism lives, energy, hyperabundant in youth, diminishes, transformed into in-form-ation, till energy is exhausted, and in the third, informative age of any species, the in-formed organism, without energy left, explodes its information back into its primary energy, and dies - an act in which the organism releases energy and looses form - The balance of all the processes of death (explosion of form into energy) and life (implosion of energy into form) are balanced, making the Universe immortal, and defining the fundamental equation of reality: E=i, S=T. We have thus resumed the fundamental particles, events, arrows of behavior and forms of the Universe in a few paragraphs, that can be gathered in a concept: A Universal Organism of energy and information. And if we are able to describe all species of the Universe as Organisms ruled by those structural events and forms, themselves caused by the events and forms that involve the 2 ultimate substances of the Universe - spatial energy and temporal information - we will have proved the existence of a Unifying Theory, and the ultimate nature of the Universe. Unlike any other model or Unifying theory, our approach is sound logically (we will reduce the totality of the Universe to two irreductible principles/substances, and a single event, not to some logic but partial postulate without prove, as many sciences do), it is sound empirically (those two substances, events and the organisms they create, are everywhere, in everything that exists), and it is sound historically (our dual substances and events do not ignore any previous partial theory or data gathered on the Universe by any previous science, but rather fusions all sciences by translating the different jargons of sciences and religions, to the "bio- logic" jargonof space-time organisms). As a result of this a new science, that unifies all sciences is born: The science of Universal Organisms. What this means is that once you understand those unifying principles, you will be able to apply them to your particular discipline as a scholar, and the species your discipline studies, with far more detail than we do in this web of general principles, searching on your own for new proves, of the existence of a Unifying Theory - or trying to prove the theory wrong by encountering events and particles that cannot be explained by those principles. In that search I can assure you you will develop an improved perception of the events of your daily life, which will become for you far more logic and natural than they seem today. |
